    You are blindfolded and spun round a few steps from the hanging pot. Its small bell and the rope's creak come from its side, louder when it is near; standing still sharpens them. Uriyadi ("striking the pot") is played in Tamil Nadu at Krishna Jayanthi and at village temple festivals, recalling the child Krishna's love of butter.
